Richard “Rick” Sanford, II
Rick is president and portfolio manager at Whitener Capital Management. With over 25 years of experience in the investment industry, Rick has helped a number of people manage and properly invest their assets. He engages his clients in the wealth management process by personalizing a plan that aligns with their core values. Prior to joining Whitener Capital, Rick spent six years as an investment broker. Rick graduated from East Carolina University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and an MBA with a concentration in finance.
Rick currently serves on the East Carolina University Finance advisory board and has served as an officer and board member on a number of local foundations and charitable organizations. Rick lives in Red Oak, N.C., with his wife, Kimberly C. Sanford, CPA and their son, Evan.
