Prior to joining Whitener Capital, Rick spent six years managing client assets as a broker with a major investment firm. Rick graduated from East Carolina University with a BA in Economics. He also completed his MBA at East Carolina University. He is a CFA level II candidate working toward obtaining the Chartered Financial Analyst designation with the CFA Institute, Inc. Rick is a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount and has served as the Treasurer with The Down East Partnership for Children.

Linda has been part of the WCM team since 1990. She previously served as Vice President and Funds Management Coordinator of Peoples Bank & Trust Company where she worked for fifteen years. Linda graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan College with a BS in Business Administration.
Sean M. Gilsenan
Sean M. Gilsenan, CFP has helped his clients define and achieve their financial and investment goals for over 19 years. Sean's primary focus is ensuring a dependable income stream for each client's retirement. Through consulting and interactive discussion, Sean steadfastly guides his clients to a unique and secure plan for each situation. Sean also specializes in small business retirement plans such as 401(k)s, SEP IRAs, SIMPLE IRAs, and defined benefit pension plans. Sean earned his Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting at East Carolina University. Sean currently lives with his wife, Alicia, and his two children in Cary, NC.
Angela R. Hill
Angela is a native of Edgecombe County and received her Business Certificate from Mt. Olive College. She was employed with Peoples Bank & Trust Co. and its successors, Centura Bank and RBC Centura, for over twenty years. She served these institutions in the Corporate Services as well as in funds and asset management positions.
